Am I the only one that still breaks out the classics every now and then? I'm talking like original Nintendo and Super Nintendo. I'm talking original mario and games like gradius and blaster master. I'm talking original gameboy games like pokemon red and blue! Super Nintendo had some of the best games ever created! But i'm just wondering if anyone else actually breaks out the old systems these days to have good old time fun and memories? I sure do. I always will.

I tried playing Ocarina of Time again, but I threw the closest thing to me out the window after I came back from playing all the way up to the water temple and finding my data erased.

I make a point of playing through Ocarina of Time at least once a year, it reminds me what good design does for a game.

I don't have anything really old, but I have brought out my N64 then and again. Pokemon Stadium 2, Mario Tennis/Party and the original SSB are surprisingly entertaining.

Oh, I definitely break out the classics every now and then. In addition to my current-gen consoles, I also have a NES, SNES, Genesis (with a Power Base Converter for Master System games), N64, Dreamcast and PS2 set up, not to mention the original Gameboy titles I've been playing on my GBA SP.

I played the first 3 MGS games two months ago and planning on buying 4th one soon. I'm planning on replaying KOTOR 1+2 and may dive into a few more classics (through 360 though) with Banjo Kazooie and others.

Definetely. The older consooles have some of my favorite games, such as the SNES or PS1, so I will certainly play them.

I usually chew through my rpg collection once every few years, there are games in there that dates back to 1993... I generally love classics, come to think of it...

I've been trying to beat DK 64. I got it when I wasfive and never beat it. Also, Banjo Kazooie is the same problem.

I've recently replayed Chrono Trigger (in Spanish no less), fire up Super Double Dragon and Final Fight and Streets of Rage from time to time, just recently beat MGS1, working on MGS 2 right now and have FF7 on my PSP, I'd consider those all classics.

Man that's no joke. Had that happen once and it was a pretty graphic scene shortly after.

Raiden is a fantastic series of games. There are tons of fly scrolling shooters out there, but it is by far one of the best.

Once every few years I plug up my N64 and play Perfect Dark and Starfox for like 3 weeks straight. I'd play it more if I hadn't lost Jet Force Gemini and Conker. Well for Conker i'd keep a game save on the Matrix level and just play that non-stop. For me, that was the type of game that's only fun the first time through when everything is new and the jokes are fresh. After you've experienced it, it's only fun when you show it to someone else and you get to see them react. Except for the matrix level. That was one of the funnest levels I've played in any game. I gave away my genesis a long time ago, but I purchased Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection and I play that. Mainly Streets of Rage 1 &3 and Sonic 2 & 3.
