why am i underwhelmed by bayonetta?

im on the 5th chapter and am finding it hard to get motivated to load the game up again after every session. instead im finding it realy difficult not to play blue dragon which i just bought second hand. Am i weird? :)

perhaps you don't like the genre? I found Bayonetta to be a excellent game.

maybe your right man. I wont give up tho coz I do hav fun playing it.

The only reason why I was feeling underwhelmed with bayonetta at first was because I sucked at the game. But the more I play it, the better I get at it (though only slightly).

I am still getting stone trophies, no where near as much as I did my first playthrough, but still acquiring them during certain chapters, and have yet to get anything above a gold trophy, so I still need to improve MUCH more! :x

because its honsestly not that good, IMO.

I was super excited about this game till all reviews said ps3 load time is horrible and the graphic has glitches... damn these reviews!

The feeling Bayonettaa gives me is akin to food poisoning... its offensive to my senses.

Maybe I have just grown out of the genre, since DMC 4 was boring to me after I loved 1 and 3, but Bayonetta is everything wrong with Japanese games IMO.

underwhelmed? maybe its because you are too focused on making up words :D

Seriously though I kind of felt the same way, but I would not go as far as to say I was unimpressed with the game. I do agree that something was missing but I cannot describe in words what is.

+1. I think this game is horribly over hyped.

I think it's the type of game that you sort of have to be an expert on to really appreciate. Still, that doesn't stop me from having fun with it. :)
