Crash and Spyro died a long time ago. The only actually good ones are the original PS ones and the GBA ones from what I've read. What have they done to Crash??? He looks HORRIBLE. He looks absolutely nothing like Crash is supposed to look.
Why are they continuing Ratchet and Clank? To me, they died on the PS2. Get my point? I can't vouch for Crash, but Spyro on the DS got me hooked. Some people enjoy platformers and will continue to buy them (at least the parents).

The difference is that R&C is still a quality series and is still being made by the original developer. Crash and Spyro plummeted in quality as soon as Naughty Dog and Insomniac left the picture. It's a shame since I bet most of the kids that play the new Crash and Spyro games have never played the originals.Â
They aren't, they are making cheap cash in games that use those two characters but they should not really be accosiated with the original PS1 games which were great for their time. I don't think they should stop making them, I just think they should put some effort back into the franchises because this gen needs more platformers imo.
Spyro the Dragon was the best, and good just as the only in the series, the rest brought it down. Crash was a good series (didn't like Crash Bash or Racing), but now it seems a waste to continue making them and bringing the quality which they were down.
As for bad mouthing Ratchet & Clank, how dare you!!! :P

I saw Crash's commercial for Mind Over Mutants today and it looks HORRIBLE. And it's for the Wii... The Spyro commercial I saw this week made it look half decent though.
Anyway, Crash is still around because I'm pretty sure Crash is still the #1 most commercially successful American game in Japan. And no I'm unfortunately not joking.
