Seriously, has anyone else noticed that Gamestop stores always smell horrible? Do the store workers not take showers or something?

He's right.... they do smell weird. That odor, my friend, is nerd sweat. It comes from the employees, yes, but also the customers. Especially the kind that come in and linger, ask a crapload of annoying questions, and never buy anything.

Stupid people tend to not wash themselves, as well as go to gamestop.

I can't tell since most Gamestops I frequent are next to the Food Court.

In stores like EB Games and such I've only really noticed this really plasticy smell, I guess from all the video game cases or something.

In all the GameStop stores I visited, I never noticed any of them having a bad smell, even smells from body odor. I must be fortunate.

a few i go in are next to food courts so if anything funny is smelling it has to be the food ,

the one gamestop i go to in a strip mall is next to a cigarette store , -and i could say the smell lingers in

When I was living in NJ there was this one Funcoland (remember that store, it later became a Gamestop?) that had a leaking roof. Well, the employees never put a bucket down so the place got moldy and smelled terrible. On top of that it was next to a Walmart, so all of the trash from the Walmart parking lot would always blow downwind to the store and it would be covered in all kinds of garbage which wouldn't help the smell either.

My god you're right, that's a spot on assessment of what I see pretty much anytime I go to a Gamestop. I make it a point to get what I need and get in and out, I don't understand the people that like to hangout there. What you said made me laugh as it's just so true hahaha.

It's not the stores so much as what is in the stores.
