Why do reviewers hate TimeShift so much??

I downloaded the demo and LOVED it.. the only thing that could keep me from buying it is not enough people on multiplayer.. and im guessing that would be because of the 6.5 it got from here. TimeShift is an AWESOME game from the demo I played both on single and LIVE. Just becuase CoD4 and Halo 3 are out does not mean this game sucks or should have gotten below a 7. If you love those games then play them.. dont give other games a low score because you feel like it isen't as "cool" as the over hyped CoD & Halo series is.

sure the demo is great because you get at least 10 solid minutes of bending time and blowing up dudes but after a while it justs become boring. also the story is pretty dumb and the ending is retarded. also, the only thing that kept me playing this game to the end is greg grunnberg the actor who plays matt parkman from heroes is in the game.Super-Penguin

So what do you do in a call of duty game if blowing stuff up gets boring after a while?

stop playing for a few weeks. i still havent finished it. rotate games to keep them a bit fresher i think

They don't hate it, so much as find it painfully mediocre. Mediocre sixty dollar FPS just don't cut it anymore. The genre is saturated, and needs to be held to a higher standard, one that Timeshift can't meet, sadly.Tuvac

It got a "fair" because that's what the game is.

The campaign is hella fun, but the story is blah. Nobody talks during what should be the most important part of the game, the ending.

Multiplayer is said to be fun. but noone plays, so it's a moot point.

I thought it was a pretty good campaign, entertaining, a bit puzzling, but solid despite lack of difficulty ("Elite" setting, hah) and overall story).

That's still bs to rate the GAME low because it's not something "new" the game is very fun and to rate it based on other (games) is stupid2apture-13ound
