Why do so many people Fortnite and do u like it?

If u see this Video u probaly see one of the best fortnite gamers but what du u think about this update and do you like it?

Haven't played Fortnite for sometime but never really had a problem with the game, does exactly what it is suppose to do. And frankly is one of the better Battle Royale games on the market.

When people dislike Fortnite, the typical reason for it is because the game is over-talked and fanbase is a bit overall annoying.

Not really any different from any other extremely popular game and successful IP, past and present- Minecraft, League, Grand Theft Auto, War Craft, Tetris, Pac-Man, Mario, Call of Duty, etc.

*Some equally annoying people also pride themselves on only liking niche games, which is an odd concept to me. While a niche game can be a more enjoyable and at times a mechanically superior gaming experience. Do not rule yourself out a fun game doods. Games are games.

I don’t have any problems with the game. Only played it a few times with my sister. Would I invest a lot of time into it though? Probably not.

I have no interest in it. The atmosphere, the building, not my style. But, to each thier own.

1. Extremely popular (which further feeds into its popularity)
2. Cross Promotions
3. Low Barrier of Entry
4. High enough of a skill ceiling to stop people from being being bored
5. The game's personality (Emotes, Costumes, Art Style, ect.)

Don't particularly care for it myself. But there are reasons for its popularity.

I play split screen with my daughter. It's gets a lot of hate from the 'hardcore' but I think it's alright.

Haven't played fortnite for a long time just doesn't appeal to my tastes anymore I can see why people enjoy it just not for me.

OP seems like a spam post to me. But anyways Fortnite doesn’t interest me, I’ll stick to CoD.

Fortnite is so fun, especcially with friends, you can shoot walk and run also there's cars, also you can unlocks skins. You can Find chests there and get loot to kill people.

While I certain wouldn't put it as aggressive I too find watching any game streamed extremely boring, if it's a game of interest would rather play it myself.

Only time I ever like to see gameplay for a game is when it's revealed, or when am still undecided if a game looks promising. And always prefer from the developer who can explain the game to me, instead some chatty loud mouth that would prefer mentioning subscribers and other nonsense.

Streamers to me are in concept suppose to be 'entertainers', and I don't think they're very entertaining. They come across as annoying.

Never played it. Just isn't my thing.

Being PvP-focused, the replayability is great because every new game is completely different from the previous one. My cousin plays Fortnite a lot (now more on Destiny 2) and he never seems to get bored of it.

I play it with the kids.

Well, the kids outgrew the game. I still play it.

It's free, it looks and run good, it has fun mechanics and finding a game takes seconds.

There are a constant stream of updates, adding new content and mechanics, almost every week.

I ended up playing it longer than i ever tough i would.

Not my cup of tea but it’s extremely popular with mainly youngsters. I’m sure a lot of adults play it whether they admit it or not. I played two or three games and it’s not for me. I like PUBG much more.
