The Nintendo Wii has now sold about 70 Mllion + units. I definitely know not all of these 70+ buyers are Mario and Zelda fans. A large part of this success is due to the whole motion control gimmick casual gamers have fallen for.
Why I Hate These B**stards
They're ruining gaming look at all the crappy titles on the wii it's absolutely ridiculous and the worst part is they've now encouraged Sony and Microsoft to do the same thing (PS Move and MS Kinnect) further cementing even more crappy games in the future.
And what happens next generation huh? Theres no way in hell Sony and Microsoft are going to miss the chance to sink their teeth into the casual gaming market. God I can see the commercials now " 75 year old man playing some boring ass golf game or some random fat singe mother too ugly to get herself laid playing some horrid gardening game. Next Generation hardware and games are definitely going to suffer because of these parasites.
Don't be surprised if the PS4 and Xbox 3 are only slightly more powerful then the current gen systems and if Sony and Microsoft attempt to concentrate their efforts towards stupid casual games and lame gimmicky motion "get involved with the game" BS like Nintendo have.
I mean seriously what is it about a Control Pad that scares the living **** out of casuals? =/
