Now don't get me wrong, the PSP is a great idea in theory...but I hate it because it continues to get good games exclusively. I do not own one, so I am missing out on games that I would absolutely love to play...and I refuse to spend 200 bucks just to play them, seeing as how I am in college and simply cannot afford it.

For example, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core....I have wanted another Final Fantasy game to play for years, and after Dirge sucked I was just aching for another...and it's a PSP exclusive! Why couldn't they just make it on PS2/PS3 as well as the PSP? Keep the same graphics, I don't care! I just want to play the game!

Same with God of War: Chains of Olympus, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, etc.

Just port the darn games to my PS2!!!

...that's my rant

yar multiplayer gaming, watch movies and videos, listen to music, view photos, and go online are

the features that no console on the planet offer. so if its price is $200 it deserve it.

While I don't hate mine, I certainly don't feel as positive about it as I did in the months leading up to its release. I've only played two games on the system this year -- Crisis Core and God of War, and only one of them was good. Granted, it was one of the best portable games I've ever played, but one game a year doesn't instill me with warm fuzzies about a platform. I'm thinking about picking up Patapon sometime, but I've held off for now because whenever I hear that PAT-A-PAT-A-PON I want to throttle someone.

It's a good little system, and it's slick as hell. But I wouldn't buy one again if I had the choice and I still think $170 is a bit steep (I paid $250!) for a system that just sits on my shelf most of the time. But then again, I don't play much in the way of handhelds period these days.
