It's basically a very old and still much used Youtube template. Outrage for clicks.
YongYea compared to someone like Jim Sterling is less obnoxious about it. Comes across as analytical rather than emotional appeals or incendiary rhetoric that put Sterling on the map, or similar ilk.
But, it still largely boils down to negativity being a magnet. Not just for gaming but Youtube in general. Drama channels. The idea of seeing the elite and successfully fall.
Bold red lettering. CAPS!. In a way it's bottom scraping, but, if it annoys publishers by informing people of their bullshit, good?
The legacy gaming media is basically seen as PR now. And to an extent, arguably are.
