We had almost 40 of superheroes games in the previous generations PS2, PS3 or Xbox360 , but this generation PS4 and XboxOne had only 5 of superheroes games ( if we excepted the remasters and LEGO games )

Spider-man ps4

The amazing spider-man 2

Marvel vs capcom infinity

Batman arkham knight

Injustice 2

What the hell ?! , i really hate this generation just because this reason :( , i miss the previous generations so much , i still remember when marvel or dc was releasing a new games every year :(

I’m a big fan of the Arkham games. Especially Arkham Knight.

I consider playing Spider-Man games when they’re released but other than that I’m not overly interested in the superhero genre.

It’s very unlikely to happen, but I’d like to see another Batman The Animated Series style game. Like Batman Vengeance or Rise of Sin Tzu...(Even though I haven’t played that one.)

Gravity Rush is basically a superhero game. Avoid the sequel. Disappointing.

@ezekiel43: Ah man, I was planing to play the sequel. First one was great. Why wouldn’t you recommend the sequel? Thanks for the heads up.

It is actually quite disappointing, I just didn't know cause a lot of the last gen games I played on PC without realizing they were last gen.

I miss the old days, when we had X-Men Legends, first Lego Batman, Teen Titans, The Punisher, Ultimate Spider-Man, and not to mention all the arcade games.......What I'd do for a X-Men Legends 3.

Maybe there are less games releases per year, but quality is getting better every year. I do love Batman Arkham Assylum and so new Spiderman. However, I remember myself playing X-men: Mutant Apocalypse for Snes, and that game was pretty cool too.

New powers that you're forced to use and aren't fun, tedious missions and an abundance of the worst forced stealth missions ever. I also found the original more atmospheric.
