If you're looking for online, go for the 360. It's filled with idiots but it beats the silent community of the PS3 and you're bound to meet some cool people on Live. The 360 also has some better exclusives.
The PS3 however has the blu-ray player which is always nice if you're into that sort of thing. It also has a better life expentancy while the 360 like it's red rings.
