[QUOTE="RandolphScott"]Eurogamer is not so hot after that fiasco with the review of a MMORPG they played for two hours, and refused to pull. It's put a sizeable dent in their once (unjustly) heralded journalistic integrity.Iamsmee
lol what game was that?I admit i dont play any MMORPG but i imagine if it anything like a SP RPG then 2 hours is enough to maybe make your character, start your game and perhaps do the tutorial if you fast
Darkfall. The game has a huge numbers of haters because it a PVP game that uses the old UO full-loot system... As well as a number of other things.
The reviewer was obviously one of the many haters, anywhere that game goes people who have never played it try to bring it down by spamming rage posts... It really is amazing that one game can have so much hate.
Either way, it really was a terrible review, Euro-gamer won't bring it down, so it stays on sites like metacritic. Basically the reviewer blatantly lied about the amount of time he spent on the game (he said 9 hours, only 2 hours were recorded) and Darkfall developers managed to bring up chat logs of the reviewer asking how to play like a retard.
yeah i found the review, first match in google for eurogamer MMORPG.Reading the review you'd think he played it a bit,now knowing what i know it just amuses me how someone can just make up so much stuff and get paid for it
