hi there i'm new to the gaming world. i got res. evil 4 for xmas and now have beat the game 2x. i have yet to see the 'matilda' or infinite launcher' that people keep talking about?? how do i get those? it still says normal in my game mode but leon's suit did change to say r.p.s. so i assumed that is pro mode but why won't it change to say professional mode? i must be doing sumthin' wrong. i did see that the mercenary game is avail. which is friggin' hard!! i thought i was kickin' ass by beating the game 2x until i played the merc game...oh well. can someone please help the newbie find her way. i want that matilda/launcher!! thx:)
Start a new game (Don't load the clear game file.) and it will let you pick professional or hard mode. As for the Rocket Launcher and Matilda, you'll have to buy those from the merchant. But the Infinate Rocket Launcher costs 1,000,000 psestas (however you spell it) so it'll take a while before you have enough money to buy it.
However, the bonus weapons (IRL, Matilda, and others) can only be bought and used in a round 2+ game (or simply a game started from a clear game save).
Leon's outfit saying R.P.S. doesn't mean you're on Pro mode. You just happen to have his first special costume on.
