Will BO2 become irrelevant when BO3 comes out?

aye, the CoD'ers are a nomadic tribe, going from place to place, following the great herds of CoD as they graze across the Great Plains of America.

Not fully, there will still be people that absolutely hate the little boost jump thing, and won't play the game.

@blangenakker: well yea, but that hasn't been the case for the last two CODs. Black Ops 2 was one of those rare masterpieces that the COD franchise produces. That's why I wasn't surprised to see that BO2 numbers are higher than AW numbers

Treyarch has a habit of producing masterpieces within the call of duty series for some reason... CoD:Big Red One, CoD: World At War, CoD: Black Ops, CoD: Black Ops II. so while I doubt that Black Ops III will be garbage, it does have a rather big shadow hung up over it from the previously mentioned games...

that said, Im kinda sticking with BOII, its much more enjoyable to me. sans the quick scoping kiddies... but thats what my Fabrique Nationale FiveseveN is for...

@ss4gogeta0: oh yeah, I forgot about those, don't forget MW2, but your right there's a big shadow for BO3, and I feel as if its gonna be beautiful, just not COD masterpiece beautiful

well, MW2 wasnt a treyarch game, it was Infinity Ward that developed it. I was just listing off games made by Treyarch. anyway, something I would really love to see is a CoD game set in the Vietnam war (Black Ops touched on it abit, but I want to see an actual story based around it...

There are a lot of players still playing BO2. I've never had a problem finding a game.
