Will IOS Games KIll The Hardcore Games

Are IOS games and how cheap they are to make compared to the regular games most of us like going to killer the hardcore games.

I never understood this whole paranoia that IOS games would take over and replace the "hardcore" games. The iOS market is expanding but I doubt it would ever overtake console and even handheld gaming. Besides, a lot of the people that are frequent players of these games would probably never buy a video game console otherwise, so there isn't much to "kill."

No way in hell. Never going to happen.

It just seems like everyday a new IOS developer or some random guy on a videogame website is saying the death of consoles. In fact 2 articles I read today from egm and gamesutra had articles on the impact of IOS games.

They're fun for about 10 minutes while waiting for takeout or an oil change, but other than that they just don't have the depth to them like console/pc games.AtlasScar
