Will Microsoft ever make another PC game again?

I can't think of any PC exclusive games they are making. They made a Age of Empires "FREE" to play game, but it failed beyond imagination. I doubt they'd put all their resources in a big PC only game and ignore their xbox.

I actually can't think of any good exclusive to PC game that microsofts made in recent memory. They seem to mostly publish games anyways and not develop anything.

I highly doubt it. Microsoft would be stupid to cater to the PC gamers.

Microsoft doesn't give a shit about PC gamers because they make hardly any money off them. Why would they release PC games? All they get is the money off the game sale, that's it. Meanwhile xbox games they get the money off the sale of the game, but they also get money from the console purchase, peripheral purchases for the system, xbox live gold to play said game online. Not to mention they funnel the gamers through the xbox dashboard which is full of advertisements that Microsoft gets money from. If one game comes out someone wants bad enough to buy a xbox for Microsoft just made money, and then they set them up to buy more xbox games, buy a t-shirt for their avatar, download a movie, watch a trailer, or look at a banner ad for a BMW that Microsoft was paid to put on there. Xbox allows them to get all of the people who want to play their games on their system in theyre eviornment.

Why port a game to a PC where they will make the least amount of money as possible? And have the least amount of sales as possible? Halo was on the PC as well and its sales were laughably pitiful compared to xbox 360 sales. Its lose lose for them to put it on a PC.

Maybe but I think they're concetrating more on Xbox and it looks like they will be for a very long time. They already dominate the PC market with Operating systems and day to day software alone so they can afford to concentrate any gaming resources towards Xbox.

@Gargus: a wall of txt all totally not complete nonsense......you are right PC makes no money thats why nothing is made for the platform and its not like it makes over $20 billion a year...and its also not like microsoft grew into a multi billion pound company on the PC...nope....no money to be made on PC whatsoever............................................................................................................................................. :-/
