I am a big fan of the god of war series. But due to my recent switch to Microsofts X-box 360 I am left to wonder whether I will ever again get the pleasure of playing as one of the most bad ass anti hero characters of all time. Has anyone heard any rumors that would suggest a possible GOW expansion onto other systems?

I don't think Sony would let that one get away.

God of War is owned by Sony, and the first two games were developed by Sony's Santa Monica studio, so I doubt it will ever leave the Playstation.

Never. No way. Seeing God of War on another console is like seeing Pokemon on the PSP.

Also, I highly doubt there would be a God of War DS...that was a joke alluding to how Viva Pinata and Blue Dragon are getting the DS treatment.

Sony Computer Entertainment owns the rights to the God of War franchise and given its enormous success, I don't think they'd ever sell it to anyone else.

I don't think you understand what first party games are. God of War is owned by Sony, meaning it isn't going anywhere... and the chances of God of War 3 not selling well are pretty low.

Never.

IP owned by Sony made by Sony internal team exclusively for Sony consoles. Buy a PS3.

Not this generation, as mentioned Sony owns God of War. Possibly in the future on some service for downloading classic games. Depends on what happens with consoles in the future.

Sony owns the rights to God of War, so that would never happen.
