Wondering about Destiny

I wanna get myself Destiny but I have no idea if it's worth it.. I checked some videos on YouTube it seems like a great game but I'd like to know it the single player gameplay is good?

Well if its single player you're after you'll be sorely disappointed.

@bryan_198: Honestly it plays more like an MMO than a game like CoD, I guess the closest shooter I could compare the multiplayer to is Borderlands.

Sure if you don't mind the heavy grind at max level :). As others have already said, it's not really a single player game since it's an MMO style game and almost 100% of the focus is on multiplayer. 3 player strikes (missions) and 6 player raids (just bigger and harder missions). And of course a few PvP modes.
