My older brothers had a NES, but the first system I ever owned by myself was a SNES. Can't go wrong with that one. shaunmc
I was never lucky enough to count as owning any system by myself untill I was willing to pay for it myself. My younger brother shared ownership of every system I had untill Uni and that was the Xbox.
atari baby, vanguard was the game to end all games, but i have had nes snes genesis ps1 game cube and now current gen systems... i miss the old school, where is the challange, where is the prince of persia of today... i want a game that makes me love to hate it lol
My first console was a NES. I got it for Christmas back in '85. It was supposed to be a combined gift for me and my older brother but he was constantly hogging it. I'll never forget those days those. At first I content with just sitting back and watching him play for hours.
If Handhelds count though, for my sixth Christmas, I got a Gameboy Colour with Pokemon Blue, and my brother got a Gameboy Color with Pokemon Red...I remember that night, staying up with our adaptors plugged into the wall, sitting in the hallway, we fell asleep with the game still in our hands. We also got some Pokemon cards, and that was when I got my Gengar:twisted:
Well, the first one I owned myself was the SNES, though my best friend lived upstairs from me when I was very young and we spent a large amount of time playing his NES. Sooo much Mario Bros \ Duck Hunt.
I had a NES first then right after that i had this Sega thing that i used to play some weird Sonic game on (it was not any of the actual systems). I barely remember it (i was 5 or 6). It had some kind of touch sensor thing and i liked it back when i was young.
My father owned a Nintendo but I didn't own it. Oddly enough the first one I actually owned myself (or recieved as a gift) was the original black and white Game Boy. I actually still have it. :)
