....What was I thinking!?
PS2: Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers !!!!!
I like it but it happens to be the worst game I own, but it could be worse!
PC-Bioshock
fiscope
WTH is wrong with you man? Bioshock won game of the year! I mean.. Well, nevermind. g4 doesn't matter the most. I'm just hoping it's because it's not right on PC.
Anyway... I would say MGS2:SoL. It's so short, and I didn't like that I wasn't playing as snake the whole time. I mean, Ryden kinda strikes me as homosexual (No offense to anyone). He's not rugged or cool enough for something like that. Plus, the boss fights were boring >_>;
Worst is a hard title to achieve, as it must reach you, on an emotional level, enought for you to talk ill about a game that already has soo many flaws... I have some very bad games, but I don't hate them enought for them to achieve a worst title. I have some games I hate with a passion, but I don't see enought flaws in them to say they are outright bad.
If I absolutely have to pinpoint at a game, I would have to pick Mask of the Betrayer, due to the overwhelming amount of negative feeling the SOUL METER generates in me. I mean, the devs who think of that, deserve a walk in an hallway full of haters screaming him insanity. But even despite all my personnal hatred, I couldn't say, without any doubt, that the game is that bad...1 feature is insanely bad, but...
If I judge by the reactions of peoples in general, I would say that the worst game ever is prolly SWG-NGE, not due to anything in-game, but due to the massive hatred it seems to generate among the peoples. If I have to judge the worst on actual bad features/designs...I am already faaking and doubt I could really consider it...many games are unfinished, broken, bug-ridden...and none are actually arousing me in anyway...except maybe Square Enix products.
So if we have to mix both, the poor qualities of the final product and some amount of hatred, yeah, Square Enix would get my award, I would pinpoint FFXI, but it could be just as well X-2, or any other products they made...yet that is a personnal answer, and I wouldn't be afraid to pitchfight any fan of the serie. Yet, my amount of hatred to Square Enix is relative, it is not absolute, and it is mostly linked to the facts they are thugs rather then weak devs...and the bad features although numerous and presents by scores, are nowhere close to some other titles out there.
At any rate, I rather be positive then negative, yet I understand making examples of lame-o-thon might be necessary, so I answer such threads from time to time.
I'll go back two generations.
Saturn: Mortal Kombat II (picked it up, disc only, as a sort of joke purchase)
PlayStation: Vanguard Bandits
Nintendo 64: Perfect Dark (sooooo...slowwwww...)
Dreamcast: Marvel vs Capcom 2 (incoherent mess)
PlayStation 2: Mortal Kombat Armageddon (bought it for UMK3, didn't go so well, keeping it since it's an LE)
Game Boy Advance: Lunar Legend
Xbox: Finally dumped my copy of Morrowind, so Robotech Battlecry.
GameCube: Wind Waker
DS: Super Mario 64
PSP: NFL Street 3
Xbox 360: Not really a bad game in the bunch, but I look at Gears of War as a weak link.
PlayStation 3: MotorStorm
Wii: Wii Sports
Trespasser. There are parts of the game that are so bad it's funny to play through, but that wears off quickly and you're left with an ugly game with bad controls and so few dinosaurs it's barely worth mentioning. Its physics engine is broken, too.
Awful, awful game.
Xbox 360: C&C 3 - Seriously, some games are just meant to be played with a mouse and keyboard. Wish I had a better PC than the piece of crap I own at the moment.mon_busThat game isnt really that bad, and its certainly not the controls that are the worst part of that game...
Motorstorm and WII sports?!? are you shttin me!! those are great games!! wii sports gets old fast but its fun to go back to lots of times and good exercise. motorstorm is the best wreck-em' demolition-racer in its genre!! look it up anywhere motorstorm beats them all! no way are those bad games man!cheese5000wth the reply-quote things are messed up! :S well anyway i was quoting to darkcatalyst's comment.
Mine would either be Soul Bringer for the PC... The game had terrible graphics, slow game play, horrible path finding and long load times
or
True Crime NYC: Glitches galore, tons of needless swearing, bugs and bad graphics

I don't need to "look it up" because no one's opinion really has any effect on me.
My list is based entirely on whether or not I was able to ascertain enjoyment from the games in question.
Because I just can't mention one:
A total of20 games I absolutely despise (or at least a significant portion). 8)
I really need to stop adding games to this list.
