Would an rpg, mmorpg, or an action game fit my tastes better?

In detail, I like stealth, daggers, swords, assassination, stealing, running, versatility and speed. I don't like full stealth nor full head on combat, more like a little bit of both. For example, Sniper: Ghost warriors seems really boring to me because you just snipe, stealth, snipe. I like Assassin's creed 2 if you want an example of what I like. Also, if possible, I prefer using swords, daggers to snipers. I don't know why, sniping just seems really boring to me :P And lastly, I own Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed 2, and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. thanks :D

Well, many RPGs such as Oblivion contain most if not all of those things, but games like Oblivion are somewhat slower-paced. Action RPGs such as Fable contain most if not all of those things as well, but are faster paced. MMORPGs? WoW example: it would depend on your class. I'd go rogue.

All games are different, many games contain most of these things, some illustrate a few more than others. Watch/read reviews, get opinions in forums, ask your local game shop.. browse around.

You would not like RPGs or MMORPGs. The closet RPG that match your taste is Alpha Protocol and that got poor reviews.

I can't really think of any RPGs or MMORPGs that have any stealth elements. You should try action-RPGs first like Fable 2, Fallout 3, or Mass Effect 2. I think Mass Effect 1 would be too slow for you.

wwait how did you know that I wouldn't like rpgs or mmorpgs? I LOVED assassin's creed 2 btw, I just don't like the lack of weapons and the quests ( I hate quests :P) people advised me to play oblivion, I wasted 20 bucks for it on steam and played it on the pc and it was so boring lol. It took freaking 20 minutes to get from one place to another and in combat, all you do is just slash and slash, a 7 year old kid could do that honestly. And in other mmorpgs that I watched like WoW, the gameplay was really boring. All they do is just press skills in front of the enemy until one of you die. The closest thing to stealth in that game is using a skill which really isn't true stealth :P I want a game that can really show the true elements of the thief/ assassin. (most of the characteristics which I already stated in the above.

Questing is basically what all Western-RPGs are all about. Turn-based battles are too slow for you so JRPGs are out. Only type of RPG would you like are action-RPGs. But it seems 90% of all RPGs don't match your taste. Stick to action and adventure games. Those games are more to your taste.

Demons Souls maybe, but it doesn't have a lot of stealth. Lot of different weapons and skills, that affect how good you are at dodging and how much damage you do with your weapons. Lots of monsters get easier to kill if you are able to sneak up behind them and get in one free attack before they see you. I guess that's kind of stealthy? It's a PS3 exclusive though, but if you own that platform that game might be worth checking out, along with the Uncharted games (another exclusive).

you can't figure that out yourself? I think you wouldn't like RPG or MMO. Dragon Age has stealth, but when it comes down to it, it's still combat heavy. Perhaps look into the cIassic Thief series.
