i think if they tuned games like mortal kombat,street fighter and tekken more of a boxing game system would that be better with a few adjustments onixring

There was a game back in the PS1 days called Bushido Blade that didn't have health bars. You won based on inflicting realistic injury on your opponent. If you slashed a limb, that limb was useless for the rest of the match. If you beheaded your opponent, it was instant KO. I never personally played it, but I heard good things about it.

Yeah I own both of those games and they were great. But like I stated, Bushido Blade was BUILT around that engine. Imagine a Street Fighter where ONE Shin Shoryuken would take your full life bar or heck a simple Tiger Knee to the face would end the fight. Think about that for a minute.
