Also don't forget Mayamoto brought the NES from Japan after the first Mario game succeeded. Had that not secceeded Nintendo would not be in America, and console history would have changed forever. You would be correct.
NES saved and revived console gaming. No one was playing games more no. And company make no profit. But Nes saved gaming, yeah they have some bad policy but it work. SMS and 7800 launching year later due to NES success and with games like Mario Bros super that introduce first side scrolling game.Dr-Gentlemen

The North American Video game crash was just that, a US thing .
In the rest of the world there was no video game crash, Europe was happily playing their games on very succesfull systems like C64/Atari 800/MSX and in Japan MSX was very populair and they already had the NES and SEGA SG 1000 out in 1983 , the year of the US crash .
There was no worldwide crash and Nintendo didn't save or rivived gaming and yes there would still be gaming if Nintendo had never entered, hell they weren't even that popular in Europe until the SNES .
Dude, you just made a thread asking what innovations they brought. Atleast give it a little time. Eikichi-Onizuka
He made one of those stupid threads too...?
But, yes of course there would be video games

They didnt save gaming at all really.
Gaming was a huge huge market that sunk. It made too much money and opened too many doors for it to stay closed once atari ruined it. If nintendo hadnt come a long then someone else would have. So nintendo didnt really save anything, they were just there at the right place at the right time.
This is all relative though considering the united states was the only country in the world to see a video game crash. You really need to realize that everything that happens in the US doesnt effect the rest of the world. Very little we do effects anyone else but us. But americans always tend to forget that there are other countries in this world and we dont mean spit to them despite how much we want to think the world revolves around us.

Yup, the "video game crash" only happened in the states, and not only was it just a US thing, it was also just the CONSOLE market. Here in the US people were still hammering away on there keyboards playing, and even making amazing games on the Commodore 64, and IBM PC's, and the like. The console market is much more prone to crashes like that than the computer game market.[QUOTE="outworld222"][QUOTE="Yo-SUP"]First two posts are inbred children. NES small and atari78 came out after the industry already recovered and were all the topic head of video games coming back. Some publications expressed excitement at the small hardware, some stated that atari78s were sold out and NES consoles were not moving. NES caught on around 2 years later when it's mono policies grabbed way to many devs and it seemed the other two had no support by the backstabbing media. also yes I can back most of this up, come at me.Yo-SUPÂ I'm baaaack! First may I say, stfu you stupid douche bag troll? I come from two racially different parents. So I contend your false assertions. That being said, everything I said stands true. Do your research. Don't even no what Inbred means good lord. And no, everything you said was wrong, you need to do research. Which you won't do because then you would be wrong and we all know that you are not ready to own up to that responsibility who knows what you will do. NES and the other two were all praised and all sold out when they all released pretty much at the same time. The magazines were saying gaming was back before they even came out, and the industry already was in the all clear in terms of profits. Stop watching noobtube and reading shittypedia. Some articles stating that the 7800's where sold out and the NES were barely moving units, it took the NES awhile with its policies to gain an inevitable foothold to victory as the media spun it in a way that made it seem the SM and the Atari7800 were not being supported, and a few years after the 4th gen started fans boys twisted everything upside down.

Yeah, only you're wrong.

Lol you're stupid. You said originally racially you thought inbreeding was race related. Now let's look at your link.hahaahhaha completely wrong.Well, it was really THE FIRST VIDEO GAME SYSTEM! It had a top loading system in where you put the cartridges at the top of the system and you could see half of the cartridge from the outside of the console. Although the shape of it was very odd. The kids of today might mistake this for an air conditioner.
Lol?The NES was launced in October of 1985
Wut?and at the time, the idea of 2 games on one cartridge was just mind blowing
The nonsense and bad writing continues, i would believe you wrote it instantly if you told me.It was one of the first games to actually have secret cheats or places you could go to, but were hard to find.
I have to give you credit, It's been awhile since i had a good laugh. That is not even a freaking cartridge. Not to mention that it contains nothing that proves my point wrong, my turn: http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=9B8qAAAAIBAJ&sjid=aioEAAAAIBAJ&pg=6904,3114594&dq=nintendo+atari&hl=en I win /threadSo here are the simmilarities and differences of the NES and the Famicom: CARTRIDGES-
Pfft, there is no piece of evidence I could present you that would satisfy your need to not attack/discredit me. Therefore I see no further point in continuing this mindless argument.
Â
Lol, I never attacked you! I gave a valid source while you posted a link to a guy who thinks discs are cartridges! What's your next attempt for damage control? :Lol:Pfft, there is no piece of evidence I could present you that would satisfy your need to attack/discredit me. Therefore I see no further point in continuing this mindless argument.

Did u even look at my link? Time to face the music chump, you can cry to mom if you want. NOW you can say I attacked you, since you deserve it after that cop out b.s.!
Your mom called, she wants me to slap you and turn you into a man.Yo-SUPLOL, You think you're a real man big fella? Making these Mom jokes? OOOOh I'm from the 80s and I had a lame life so I have to attack you11!!!!1111 You calling me a crybaby?? HAHAHA. BTW what damage control? YOU clearly deny a couple of things. First, let me explain to you something chump. Mayamoto came from Japan. Unless you want to discredit that too. I don't know. He brought the first Mario game which HE invented and brought it to the US. Else history would have been quite different if he had not. Nintendo is a Japanese company. In other news, 1 + 1 = 2.

Europe and many other countries were happily playing games on their computers and those weren't affected by the crash. In fact..Commodore 64's success was one of the reasons why console crash happened.
So yea, without NES we would still be playing games, just propably on different devices.

Who's Mayamoto , Miyamoto covered in Mayonaise ?
lol! Pot meet kettle.Lol you're stupid. You said originally racially you thought inbreeding was race related.
