Alright I'm torn. I've started playing WoW but I've realized that I have not been playing my consoles that much(360/PS3). I recently bought Demon Souls and I haven't even touched that cuz of WoW. I'm afraid that I'm going to miss out on a lot of games because I'm solely only playing WoW. So what do you guys think, do you think I should stick out w/ WoW and hit end-game or quit and stick to my consoles?

Well consindering you believe that there is only 1 game on PC I think you may have a classic case of ADDICTION. Put that WoW down, back away from the WoW, and book yourself in to a 28 day session of playing any other game(s). Seriously though who cares? It's your life do what you want. Posting threads like this just makes you sound completely tragic. *JOKES* :P

I have a friend who has been playing it constantly since it launched, and I mean he hasn't touched another game at all since then. How the hell anyone can only play 1 game is beyond me!

'Cause it doesn't end, there's always something to grind for. I'd go for console gaming if you have a busy life, if you have plenty of free time then play WoW.

Uhh... Are you seriously trying to decide 1 PC game and a console's entire library?

Go for the console. You can only play 1 ame for so long.

never really like WoW or understood paying every month to play a game you already paid for. So i'd say step away from the WoW and start enjoying demon souls.

1 PC game vs. thousands of old and new console games.

yeah, I'm thinking console games would be the better choice here.

I agree with the others console gaming is the way to go, and there are way more great gaming experiences to have out there and WOW just doesn't offer that kind of veriety.

Well brah, WoW is something I have never tried out myself, but you have some pretty good games on your consoles, and good consoles at that. If I were you I would step away from playing World of Warcraft. But I cant tell you to do anything, Its a decision only you can make for yourself.

I musta missed the part where they said that it was WoW or working out at the gym with the bikini testing team... The optionswere MMO vs a pile of console games and both have similar effects on yourlife arc.

Depends, do you actually play WoW because you enjoy it, or because you are addicted to it? If you're addicted to it, it'd be best to either quit or try to gain a little more control of your playing habits.

I played WoW for a year, in that time I almost didn't touch my consoles. Now I'm playing my ps2 and ps3 again and it's awesome. WoW is awesome too though. Try to combine :P

some stuff on wow is more convenient; i never got into raiding but if the community in a raid is good it is probably more enjoyable than a good multiplayer game.demons souls is good but its is best when you have the time to enjoy the frightening aspects of it; and the coop with text chat and 4 buddies doing rotations through the levels was fun.

MMOs blur the lines between work and fun. I use to be an avid MMO fan, and then wow came out. The cartoonist avatar, and attack/spell animations give it childish appeal. MMOs should be an young adult/adult gaming community, yet blizzard adapted a lot for kids too it seems. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much competition for WOW. Instead there is wide variety of companies conforming to the equation they adapted. Which is a more casual and less hardcore community. If you like MMOs, there isn't a substitute in consoles. However consoles games offer a variety of similar status based achievements, and promotions depending on the game. You just have to find the one that fits your niche.

I think you need to have a happy medium, WOW is so popular because of the community and endless choices of what to do and how to customize your character. If you think about it you're moddling a character YOU want to be and that kinda appeals to all RPG players

I had the same problem before but something happened, I got tired of it and I no longer am bound to that stupid and retarded game. I got tired of people

playing that game as if their life depended on it. Level 80 people develop this grandiose perception of themselves and act as if they're gods.

I would find the most aggrevating aspect of that game and put all your focus on it. Play something else, WoW is a never ending loot generator. It's pointless.

Not that I don't agree but honestly what game isn't essentially pointless? Any FPS is playing the same maps to the point of knowing them in your sleep with no incentive beyond winning. WoW might be a loot generator but it's the people that make it worth playing. The bad people even moreso because then you make friends by allying against douchebags.

I'd rather have fun with real people in WoW or an FPS than playing through a scripted single player game. Just having people involved keeps things unpredictable. Most video game stories are sacrificed for the sake of action (CoD) and the ones that aren't are just as suspect as WoW in the gameplay variation department. At least WoW has elements of multiple genres, though most of it could've been done better.

My suggestion is both so you can get the single player and multiplayer benefits together and neither one gets dry. This worked for me until I played WoW too much and lost taste for both.

Playing the same game for months can be a bit monotonous. I'd try to vary your gaming more, it gives you a broader spectrum. You can always go back to WoW, though I wouldn't personally recommend it much.
