I have a problem. I love gaming, I've been a gamer since the days of the NES. I love playing everytype of game, for the past couple of years I've been into MMO's also, I started with Ragnarok, Runescape (not too much though :P), Guild Wars and now Warcraft. I met my wife in Guild Wars and she enjoys MMO's alot, so now we both got WoW and been playing together, but I also have a Wii now and I miss it! I have trauma center, sonic, monkey ball, paper mario, resident evil, ssx blur and haven't got a chance to finish them because of WoW! My wife really enjoys playing WoW and I do also, to some extend, I mean, it's fun, addicting but in the end you just do quests to get better equip over and over again. If I stop playing my wife would feel bad because I don't want to play with her anymore, if I keep playing I'm going to miss my Wii not to mention the fact that I'm also considering buying a PS3 or Xbox.

So my question is, what do you guys think? should I stop playing WoW and concentrate on my consoles? or Keep on with the endless grinding?

I just read the one after yours and combined it with the title and figured you were asking which one to get...

And why cant you do both??? Play Wii when your wife isnt around or doesnt feel like playing...and play WoW when she is

I was addicted to WoW, but then I started playing some regular games again. Like Dreamfall, Gears of War and Shadow of the Colossus and realized that WoW was ruining my chance to play these really good games. I say try to get your wife interested in console games. Because hopefully she will come around. And besides WoW will always be there.

Why not have her try the Wii?

Games like Rayman, Wii Sports, and WarioWare are always fun to play together.

I say stop with WoW, once you hit lvl 70 and start raiding, you'll get seriously addicted to it and after a while it just gets boring, when I used to play it the main thing me and my friend were talking about on WoW was what chars and races we were gonna be on WAR. Tho if the PvP has been sorted in TBC then I'd choose WoW over Wii.

Yeah, even as a hardcore gamer I think that WoW's end game raiding is a huge waste of time. I stopped playing WoW when I hitted level 60. You can rather play other great games than do the same instances over and over again. Why don't you start another MMO with your wife that is not so time consuming, like LOTRO. You will then have time to play an MMO and Wii. That's what I do. And why don't you play Wii with your wife? :)

Ragnarok. A bit too nostalgic
