Well on 12/31/09 the WWE license with THQ is up and WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010 could be the last game on THQ. The WWE sign with THQ back in 1999 after they lost the WCW license to EA. Now I hear rumor is that WWE is deal with EA to make a WWE game. EA have made some WCW game in the past, the first two suck but EA and AKI was going to make a WCW game for the PS2 in 2001 but then WWE brought WCW the game was canllced. EA and AKI still wanted to make a wrestling, they did the first two Def Jam game and was rumor to get the TNA license. THQ have been with the WWE for 10 years and they are rumor to get the TNA license once the WWE license is gone.
i for one dont need ea making a wwe game look at the madden and nba live series as a point since they have a monopoly on certain sports they are no longer motivated to put out great games anymore just updated sequels where we the gamer get screwed the wwe need a company that has a passion for the game like the company that made fire pro wrestling because thq just doesnt have it anymore and ea would do more harm than good
