I just wanna say im not bashing the system, but after reading Ask_Story's thread(whaddup) i just think that if they would fix the hardware issues they would probably have the

highest selling console. I know atleast 30 people(myself included) who purchased a Wii or Ps3 because of the 360's lack of

reliability. When i was at eb games i looked at the 360 premium cuz i wanted one real bad, i was dying to play GoW but then i

thought, its such a hassle to send the 360 in every month cuz of poor quality and then get a refurbished one to take its place. so they lost a sale. That being said microsoft would

definately be on top right now with their great library of games if they fixed the problem or something! But im happy with my Ps3

anyway, but i refuse to buy a 360 until they fix the problem. Anyone else agree that they would probably be on top right now?

Personally, I didn't think it was a great thing that half an hour of Halo 3 made my 360 hot enough to cook eggs on it.

well they are on top or they were anyway, i think the wii is outsellin it now, im not sure on that tho, but yea either way the lack of reliability doesnt seem to stop many people from shellin out the money for it, youd think it would but it doesnt, i know a few people like your self who stay away from the system due to reliability concerns, but theres still more then enuff people willin to buy it then there are people who wont, so it doesnt have much of an effect

Think what you want but I´m happy with my 360.Why?Because if (and I ahve got a launch-console!) it ever gives up and I have to send it in,I get it back in 3-4 weeks and it´s working again.I whould use the between-time to finish some other games on PS2/XBox.Why should I buy another console who has not the games I want to play or the same games with a weaker framerate (in most cases)...I buy consoles because of the games and the 360 is the only console right now who got more then a hand full of good ones.Of course it depends a bit on the taste, but even there the 360 points the PS3 and even more the Wii out,due to the variety of games.

Well, you made your choice and you're happy with your ps3. Are you implying that you would be happier with a 360 if it didn't have those issues?

Well it is a great thing, I wish every console had this option. The only problem with having a built it stove on a console is sometimes it can get dirtya little faster than normal, but I guess that's a fair trade off when you have the convenience of cooking hot food while slaying people.

It certainly has reliability issues, but I think you are exaggerating. I strongly doubt you will have to send it in every month for repairs. I've had mine for close to a year with no issues. Most of the people I know have not had issues either. However, I do have one friend that got the RROD. HE sent his in and got a different one back in 3 weeks - not ideal.

As a system, yeah, it's unstable and stuff; but if you enjoy the games it's worth it. Unless you get the three red rings.
