This is my first time in the Forum so I'm still feeling my way around. I have a bit of a problem with the game ' BLACK' for the Xbox (not 360) and hope that some of you more experienced gamers out there may be able to assist me in sorting it out. A friend passed on the game for me to try out but unfortunately the instruction booklet that normally accompanies these games was misplaced some time ago. Nevertheless, I managed to get going, and right from the start I was hooked well and truly. I got through the game on normal level, no problem, but according to some info I found on Google I am led to believe that once completed on this level, I was supposed to get all 'SILVER' weapons and unlimited ammo. This, providing of course, that I stuck to the same level or the one under it. Okay, I did get the silver weapons, but for some reason unknown to me, I still only get the normal ammo supplies and find myself running short sometimes. Obviously, I have messed up somewhere but I cant figure it out. Perhaps my 64 year old brain isn't functioning as well as it used to be, but I would certainly appreciate any assistance that any of you kind souls may have to offer. I think that I must be going into the game all wrong and not pressing the right buttons, but dont know where. Thank you all for your time, seablue13
I'm in the same boat as you I believe. I have the PS2 version and on my file I have silver weapons, but not unlimited ammo. I haven't played the game in a very long time though so I can't really explain what's going on. Sorry. :(
i beat the game not too long ago, and I can't recall that ever happening to me. Maybe try on a harder difficulty? I'll go play it and PM you if I remember.
Hi Everyone, Thank you all for your comments. I did forgot to mention in my original query that the silver weapons & unlimited ammo only applied to the level you had just finished, or the easier one below - not on the higher levels. I found this info on a game walkthrough that I was looking at on Google. Seems rather odd though, why be given silver weapons if there was no apparent advantage to them? I was looking forward to going throught he same level again with all that ammo and having a field day blasting everything in sight without worrying about running out of juice. Oh well, it was a nice thought while it lasted. Seabreeze13
Once you beat the game on a certain difficulty, you unlock silver weapons for all levels on that difficulty. You still need to reload, but your reserve ammo should show up as 999.
Yes, I know that I am supposed to have unlimited ammo with the silver weapons. However, I have the silver weapons but the ammo remains the same as before and runs out. Apparently someone else has had this problem too. Seablue13
