I noticed both consoles are getting quite a few exclusives this year, Which makes me want to get a console so I'm not missing out.

So I'm wondering which one will have the best exclusives. I play on my computer so I'm thinking a PS4 would be the smart option.

What do you guys think?

Best is a matter of opinion. Depending on what games you prefer or look interesting to you is what platform you should play on.

Both?

Out of the exclusives on both systems this year I'm probably buying 14 of them, 6 on PS4(Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Gran Turismo Sport, Ratchet & Clank, Nier Automata, and No Mans Sky) and 8 on Xbox One(Gears of War 4, Quantum Break, Halo Wars 2, Crackdown 3, Cuphead, ReCore, Sea of Theives, and We Happy Few).

I own both and I'd say that Xbox One will have the better exclusives this year that won't be available on PC.

Otherwise, personal wise, I'd recommend you get a PS4.

@buddymanson:

Xbox one has 3 exclusives that aren't coming to pc.

PS4 has over 20.

Xbox one: Quantum Break, Forza (?), and Gears of War 5. Dlc (season 3) of killer instinct is coming

Ps4: Nier Automata, Alienation, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, Gravity Rush 2 (and 1 remastered), Yakuza 0 (us)/Yakuza Kiwami and 6 (japan), Ni-Oh, Ratchet and Clank, The Last Guardian, Gran Turismo Sport, Drawn to Death, Dreams, What Remains of Edith Finch, Shadow of the Beast, Persona 5, and others I can't think of that aren't coming to pc.

I

If you're going to count games coming to pc, you have halo wars 2, cuphead, and a few others for xbox one

Ps4 is a lot better though, with stuff like tekken 7, street fighter 5, No Man's Sky, etc etc coming.

Ps4 dominates in exclusives this year both in quality and quantity.

This is something you need to decide for yourself... have a look at both sets of exclusives and decide.

There's no point us telling you what we prefer.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and the same applies to "best", PS4 may have 20 exclusives coming this year and out of 20 I´m only interested in 1, X1 may have fewer exclusives coming this year but I´m interested in 3 so for me X1 is "better" than PS4 ( and I own both consoles ).

@buddymanson: To be honest both consoles are amazing I have had a xbox 360 since I was like 6 which was I think the first year 360 came out and always loved xbox. Once next gen was released I quickly got a xbox one and kept it for a year then all my friends decided to get ps4s for thew cheaper membership so i sold the One for a ps4. Now I really want to get the xbox one back BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY is something that sony will probably never give they have for some ps2 games but its a rip off and the ps3 games have to be rented. So soon ill get a xbox one again. So in the end sorry for the weird rant but both consoles are good but xbox is now a bit better

also sony services go down way more often then xbox

Most Xbox One Exclusives are not really that exclusive since they will be out on PC in most cases. So if you have a decent PC i would definitely go with a Ps4.

If you do not have a good PC i would go with what most of your friends have.

From what I can tell, many if not most X1 exclusives will eventually make their way to PC. Obviously not all will, but many.

Alternatively, most PS4 exclusives will not be on PC, but there are a host that will be such as Street Fighter V and Shenmue 3. The nice part is that PS4 titles on PC are trending to have the ability to play with each other. So your PS4 friends can play against you in Street Fighter if you're on PC.

I prefer Xbox One exclusives this year . Gears of war , Quantum break , ReCore , Crackdown , Halo wars 2 .. caught my attention . ( recore and Halo wars are also coming to Windows as I heard )
But I must admit Horizon Zero dawn on PS4 looks really amazing ! and also there is the big Uncharted . which I don't really like but many people Love it .

I think XBOX will have the better exclusives, however IF you are looking for a console to satisfy you I would always go with the ones that my closest friends play the most. I have both consoles and friend groups on each, but I prefer xbox all day any day over ps4 for various reasons. Also, I have to play some halo.
