You ever play a game you certainly enjoyed, but wouldn't go another round with?

I can name a few games that I liked quite a bit, but I wouldn't necessarily replay.

Dead Space - I liked the game, played through it once. Never felt scared, not going to get scared the second time.

Resident Evil 5 - I found that the only replayability it had was unlocking everything, which I found a relatively easy way by grinding the first chapter for treasure and money. Also Mercenaries got bored really quickly once you've unlocked all levels and characters. Never played through the campaign again.

Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts - As much as I loved building a bunch of machines, ranging from a gigantic, do-it-all modular assault helicopter to a BattleMech, the objectives in the game were thinly disguised repeats of each other.

Call of Duty: World At War - Game's too short and I spent the rest of my rental on it with Nazi Zombies and local multiplayer.

What about you guys? What can you name that just wasn't fit for another play?

Secret of Mana- thought it was a decent game, but I wouldn't play it again.

There's a lot of games I don't play again, even though I enjoyed them. Just some I can think of: All Assassin Creed games GTAIV (can't see myself doing the story again, but I'd still play it for fun) Mafia 2 Portal 2 (I think I went through story missions for trophies, but the first playthrough is really the only enjoyable one) Batman Arkham Asylum/City (not good enough to play on Hard, so 1 playthrough is all I need) RDR (same as GTAIV) Saints Row 3 And a lot of others...

Final Fantasy X. I did just about everything there is to do in that game. Its one of my all time favorite games, but I wouldn't want to do some of it again. Plus the story wouldn't resonate with me the way it did the first time I played it

One of my favorate parts of games is replaying them, but just to name a few games that fit that description: Assassins creed - i just can't keep my sanity if i have to climb anymore veiwpoints. Heroes of might and magic 4 - i haven't even finshed all the campaigns and i can tell you that i'm not playing them again. Tom clanceys rainbow 6 vegas 2 - like assassins creed it get's too tedious.

Heavy Rain is really the only singular title I can think of. I enjoyed the game, but trying to play it again while making different decisions simply because they're different doesn't feel fun. The first time I played it, it meant something and was a great experience because it went with my options and results. Just didn't have the same feeling forcing different outcomes. (The Walking Dead might end up being like this as well)

Most open world games that I "complete" I'll never return to. Like GTA San Andreas, I'll probably never bother with the storyline again. Though I'll still play in the sandbox that they provide, which is kind of the point I guess. And a lot of puzzle games I won't give another go around. I might play Portal 2 again once I think I forgot all the puzzles, but they'll probably come back quickly.

Most games really. Especially linear games that only have single player.

Any game that I've 100%'d I usually won't ever play again unless there's a good MP. As long as there's achievements left to be earned, I have no problem going back.

>You ever play a game you certainly enjoyed, but wouldn't go another round with? Most games I have completed fit in that category Only time I do start another round is for it's multiplayer OR if there is some bonus stuff the second time around and I guess if the story is really really short and I enjoyed it (4 hours or something like that)

Most games fall into this category for me. Kinda like reading a book imo.

Vanquish - fun but short game. Tried a second playthrough but lost interest immediately because it's just the exact same thing again.

F1 2010 - a really challenging and fulfilling game, not to mention a ton of fun, but once I'd completed my first F1 season, there was little reason to go back and do a second.
