I'm still waiting for my first purchase, although it may occur before one of Steam's online holidays sales ends by January 3. Thanks for reminding about Red Dead Redemption; I managed to forget about it due to the promising first quarter of 2010 for gaming.
I might get a game at a low cost at some point during the month. I'm also interested in Darksiders, but I'll wait until the price drops. First full price game I'll buy will be Battlefield Bad Company 2.
well I just bought kotor off of steam, so I guess thats technically my first purchase of 2010. My first real purchase though will likely be mass effect 2.
I have alreay made a purchase this year...my copy of Deus Ex was scratched so bad it wouldnt install, so I bought the game of the year edition off of steam. But the game that I will be getting next that I dont already own will be Sands of Destruction for the DS.

What is that? It is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers which is a wii game that is more adventure than rpg. It gpt almost universally bad reviews. On another note i will be picking up Mass Effect 2 first. The collector's edition actually.
