Quietly re-release the Dreamcast. Don't try and flash it up, just re-release the thing in it's original form, price it at around 40-50$ and bundle some games.
Why would they open production of the unit again? I'd imagine that would cost them quite a bit of money. I wouldn't mind getting one, as I can't find the one I originally purchased, but it just wouldn't make sense for sega.
What does Sega have to gain? I seriously doubt they would have any financial gain for this and Sega fans can still get a Dreamcast off Ebay for that price. Plus who is going to support it with games? No 3rd party is going to waste effort on a dead console.
That would be a terrible business move on their part. It would cost a fortune to begin production, and if they did it without any flash, then no one would know it's been rereleased, so it wouldn't sell.
