Your Amazing Bargains?

So seeing as it was a real nice sunny day, i went along to a carboot with my family today and managed to find some real bargains :P

Amongst them, i found Golden Sun for the GBA boxed in mint condition and still in its original packaging never opened for £1!
I also got Aladdin, Lion King, Road Rash, Altered Beast and Jurassic Park all boxed on the Genesis for a £1 for the lot also :D

Another one that springs to mind, despite it not being today was i found Finall Fantasy VII and VIII at a carboot and got the both for 10p :P

I found a copy of Tekken 3 (PS1)for 99p at GAME, Final Fight One (GBA)- 49P, also found a copy of Vagrant Story (PS1) for 80p in CEX.

I went to my local C.E.X game shop and found Final Fantasy VIIsitting on the shelf begging to be bought for a FIVER!

I could tell the guy didn't want to sell it me.

Haha yeah i dont think he actually knew what they were Black discs aswell.
And Vagrant Story for 80p?! I mean CeX are dirt cheap for PS1 games, its just a case of them having them in stock, as i was going to get Dino Crisis 1&2 and Metal Gear Solid, which in total would of added up to like £2.80

went to cash converters and found twilight princess and wind waker for gamecube, cost me 7 pounds for both, and they both looked brand new.

and off ebay, a gameboy micro with two games for 8 pounds, and a sega saturn with eight games for a fiver.

from gamestation, i "rescued" a dreamcast with eight games, and loads of accessories for 6 pounds.

i do love a bargain.

I found a dreamcast for $15 once.

Also, a few weeks ago I was given a PS2 (silver slim), God of War 2, and Rock Band for free!!!

went to cash converters and found twilight princess and wind waker for gamecube, cost me 7 pounds for both, and they both looked brand new.

I've been to Cash Converters a couple of times, found a few good bargins certain times, like the other day I found a copy of Resident Evil 2 (PS1)for £1.50, and found a copy of Croc 2 (PS1) which looked completely brand new never been used for 80p.

Max Payne for the xbox used but in pretty good conditon for 4 euros, dead rising for 15, serious sam 2 for 5 euros and grim fandango for 10 euros. Bearing in mind that games are pretty expensive in Portugal, these were pretty good bargains.

Bought the original Ridge Racer from the PS1 at GameStop for only $ 2! But I also purchased Fear Effect and Gex: Deep Cover Gecko, so I actually payed more then $2.

conker's bad fur day for £2 from cash converters , (on Ebay the price was usually £40)

PAL Panzer Dragoon Saga for £60 on Ebay, (usually £150-£200)

Tekken 3 for £1.50 from cash converters

Burning Rangers for £20from Ebay (usually its £70)

every single mech warrior tile + expansions (pc only) and medal of honor: Allied assault + spearhead for $1 each.

Ended up getting Persona 3 for free, about 5 months after the orginal purchase, when I picked up my pre-order of P3 Fes . The clerk runk up the orginal P3 by mistake and their computer showed that I preordered it and didn't pick it up, when I actually did. I told the guy behind the counter that the computer was wrong, that I had picked it up. But he gave me a refund for the orginal P3, which was about 55 bucks with tax. and gave me my pre-order of Persona 3 Fes... which was a 29.99. So, I got a copy of P3 Fes, along with some in-store credit. And told me not to worry about it since it was in my favor....

Oh well... so much for trying to be honest.

Picked up Siren for 10 bucks when it was first released. It was selling for 50 bucks everywhere else. But, that really doesn't matter, now,since the game sells for about 10 bucks,now, anyway.

Got Nocturne for 35 bucks, when it was selling on Ebay for about 70.... about 3 years ago.

Got the PS1 version of Valkyrie Profile for 40 bucks abouta year before the PSP version was released.

Pre-order of Shadow Hearts Covenant was pretty good. Came with the orginal Shadow Hearts for all those that pre-ordered it from EBgames.

Hot Shots Second Tee, for the PSP,I think I got for 13 bucks on thatAmazon's Treasure chest deal, back in December.

here's one everyone can still get. (well if you like this sort of U-boat sim.) Silent Hunter 2 & 3 combo packfor the PC iscurrently going for around 9 bucks on amazon.com. Good thing about this is that it doesn't have starforce protection, and it comes prepatched with 1.4b. Which makes installing GWX3.0 a breeze.

Metal Gear Solid for $1. Sure it was only the discs, but still felt playing the game is more important than anything.

Haven't had any real good bargains lately, but I got one of those Xenosaga games(can't remember which one lol) for $3 and Final Fantasy Legend III for $9. It's too bad there aren't really any good used video game stores around anymore, but the one I visit occasionally has some good gems. :)

Lucifers Call (Nocturne in the US) for £6 brand new off ebay :)

I got a brand new copy of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne for 30 bucks a few months ago from Amazon. Sold and shipped from Amazon as well, so it was a safe purchase as well. 30 bucks for that game is a bargain in my opinion.

A few years back I got me a NES console, two pads, NES advantage pad and thirteen games for £37. My first ever ebay purchase, and I've never looked back.

I went to my local C.E.X game shop and found Final Fantasy VIIsitting on the shelf begging to be bought for a FIVER!

I once found a Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel in near perfect condition at a thrift store for $8.

Considering those things go for around $70-$150 on Ebay, I snatched it up without a second thought, and I haven't regretted it since.

Back in 04 I bought Final Fantasy VII for $15 at a Sam Goody.

EDIT: I bought Viewtiful Joe new for $7.

Just last week picked up the original Ratchet and Clank for 99p on ebay in good condition (i know its old, but I am new ps2 owner......) and I got the original Metal Gear Solid for PS1 in great condition for £2.

i find bargins almost all the time at pawns lol ,

The local fleamarket is where I get most of my best deals, so far I picked up chrono trigger,Mario RPG, and Tactics Ogre all for $30.

My best deal was when the ps2 was starting to get popular and my local K-Mart was trying to clear away all of their ps1 games they had still sitting in the back storage room. After alot of searching through the boxes they had I ended up with a copy of Valkyrie Profile and about 4 copies of the black label FF VII, they were all priced at $10 each.
