Your favorite FPS character?

Dear FPS gamers

One of my favorite FPS character of all time is Medic from TF2, how about yours?

Probably TF2's spy.

Vaas

Doom guy because he laid the ground work for the FPS genre.

I’d probably go with Master Chief from the Halo games.

Master Chief is a really awesome character!

Probably D00M Guy/ D00M Slayer.

Nice to see a character not really caring to sit and discuss the plot and romance NPCs, a get things done character, mostly what I want in video games. A little too edgelord in Eternal but suppose they had to ramp it up after IV; is but one game in a long legacy though. So still think he takes it for me.

*Honorable mention to Heavy in Team Fortress 2. Doesn't have as many games as D00M Guy but the fandom has certainly meme'd him since TF2 blew up all those years ago. TF2 actually has tons of great characters but Heavy was my pick always_

Sofia Lamb from Bioshock 2. Found her genuinely unsettling. Scared me more than Andrew Ryan.

Regarding TF2, I like all the characters in it, but Heavy might indeed be the funniest. That "om nom nom" still cracks me up.

Saw someone picked characters from Deus Ex though, and while I adore the series (when it's good) not really First Person Shooters. They're Stealth RPGs, just in FP perspective. So odd take.

I also like the Pilgrim and Dwarf in Vermintide 2, but the offical names escape me. I know them better for the character classes I use for both. Being; Ranger and Zealot.

Pathfinder from Apex

Arbiter Thel Vadam from Halo 2. His story of redemption was extremely moving, plus it was more fun to play as him for me than any hours on end as the Chief. Even as a villain for most of the game, it didn't bug me, as humans suck. 🙃👽

Master Chief from the Halo franchise. It's really the only character I'm familiar with that's part of an FPS franchise anyway.

You know I think I wouldn't be able to guess that one right in my lifetime.

But, silliness aside I've played so many of them it's hard to pick.

I like how cool and too the point Master chief is. Vaas stands as hands down one of the best FPS villains of all time (9999x better than the true last boss to FarCry 3). BJ from Wolfenstein is Awesome as well. I've always liked Price from COD. The team in BF: Bad company is just way too likable. DOOM guy is just pure badassness. And Samus from Metroid prime is, well, Samus. She's just awesome as she is.
