Final Fantasy X for me. Best storyline of all games, best and saddest ever game ending, amazing music, both melodic and faster paced, awesome fun to play in and complete.

So hard for me to pick one, but its probably Mass effect 2 because of its story and characters.

Zelda: Majora's Mask for me. Incredible blending of top notch unsettling atmosphere, simple but effective story and top notch gameplay.

The greatest game ever was a game I played when I was a kid... Starsiege Tribes. My favorite current game would be Planetside 2.

Streets of Rage 2, because it's perfect.

Resident Evil 2 / Alien Vs Predator Arcade

I would say:

Warframe-for being best fantasy free game.

Borderlands 2- YE GODS, LOOK AT ALL THE SWEET LOOT!

Crysis 3- when you look down... omg you can see your legs in a FPS! and you have a bow.

Dead Island- for being the first game that makes me scared of friking zimbies (do u know the one which says "HEEELP MEEE!" that zombie scares the shit out of me) also you can see your legs.

Dirt 3- you have COCKPIT VIEW! and i like drifting in gravel.

P.S. i dont know which one should be in first place.

Probably Demon's Souls. You can't beat the atmosphere and gameplay in that game. Literally everything is perfect.

Same for me. FFX is my favorite because of the music, story and characters. I also think it's the best turn based battle system out there

Dark Souls is one that really stands out.

TMNT: Out of the Shadows. Aside from being the best Ninja Turtles game ever made, it also took the modern beat em up to new places with multiple distinct player characters and 4way co op gameplay.

This is a really tough one... But I would have to say Toejam and Earl for the Sega Genesis. Best platform game I've ever played, and it's definitely the game that made me a gamer today.

Used to be Resident Evil 4, but now it's Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2.

My favorite is Diablo 2 and all Baldurs gate or Icewindale games :) But also Red alert and CAC... if you like Red alert you can also try Age of defenders.. its game what i m making with my friends, its browser game BUT you should really try it ;)

Right now I'm hooked on Fallout: New Vegas

Metal Gear Solid 4. I loved it when it first came out, but I just replayed all of the MGS games in timeline order, and I must say that if you are up to speed with all the characters, it's a wonderful game. I just feel sad that there won't ever be another Solid Snake game. I'm doing my second no kill, no alert, no healing item play through. It's been great. Can't wait for Phantom Pain.

World of Warcraft, quite possibly the most enduring game I ever played, it took a long time for me to finally get burned out

You and me both. Phantom Pain looks like it will take Metal Gear to the next level gameplay wise. I'm hoping it will fill in all gaps for Big Boss's trip to the darkside, concluding with Solid Snake and Big Boss just before the events of Metal Gear 1 and 2.

My favourite game series is Pokemon :) I'm old school! so at the moment Pokemon X/Y! but Pokemon Gold/Silver is my favourite game ever.

It's not just that, the game itself is just soooo gooooood

Probably Tetris DX for the Gameboy Color. I can't even begin to predict how many hours I've put into that little cart. It's the best iteration of the best puzzle game yet made.

Runner up: Super Metroid.

So true, I've often found the hours just fly by playing it.

My brother and i spent our whole summer vacation just playing that game one summer. So good!

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines

Pretty even split between Banjo-Tooie, Jet Set Radio Future, and Shining Force 1/2.

Yakuza 4.

It's such a damn shame that Yakuza 5 won't be released outside of Japan though :(
