For an unusual thread, list your top 5 favorite Japanese devs. With some games made by them to show why. For me Number one will be Namco for reasons that include: 1.Tower of druaga 2.Bosconian 3.Rally-X 4.Mappy 5.Dig Dug 2nd would be Data East, one of the great legends: 1.Bloody Wolf 2.Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja 3.Burgertime 4.Fighters History: Dynamite 5.Spin Master Coming in for the top 3, SNK: 1.King of Fighters 96 2. Biomotor Unitron 3. Fatal Fury: King of Fighters 4.Alpha Mission 2 5.Kof XIII Then it would be Taito: 1.Arkanoid 2.Jungle Hunt 3.Darius 4.Operation Wolf 5.Chase HQ. Then coming in for 5th would be Hudon Soft: 1.Dragons Curse 2.neutopia 3.Neo bomberman 4.JJ and Jeff 5.Bomberman Hero What are yours?
Mostly just for the Tales series. Those games are that awesome, lol. However I do enjoy Soul Calibur and Tekken as well. And the DBZ and Naruto fighting games.

Nintendo, of course. They're at the top of my list. Perhaps the top of my overall develops list. Platinum games. They've made some of the best action games I've ever played, and continue to create quality experiences. Level 5: Some of the best Japanese rpg's I've played are from them. They're hit or miss, but when they hit... they hit hard. Capcom: I hate their dlc practices, but do produce some solid games. Konami: Metal Gear, enough said.
Platinum: Bayonetta is the best game in this generation for me. Capcom: just naming Street Fighter, Breath of Fire, Onimusha and Ace Attorney is enough for me. Level 5: Layton, one of the best DS series. Square: Dragon quest, Final series.
