FFXI.

I absolutely was addicted to that game. I loved the different jobs and quests. There was just something fun about grinding in the game, especially when they added the big expansions to make experience earning much easier and faster. I loved hunting/camping Notorious Monsters as well. Mee Deggi the Punisher... asshole.

World of Warcraft. Quite simply, it's the ultimate video game for me: the world, the music, the gameplay... everything

I've always been so interested in getting into it, but I feel like its one of those games that you need to communicate with others in a clan or group inorder to really get absorbed?

Well yeah, a guild with good people is a big part of it; working together to overcome obstacles and defeat powerful bosses is the allure or raids, not the loot.
But that's just endgame, leveling is a whole other journey

Yeah fair enough. Any particular class you would recommend?

I haven't played it in a long while, but since WotLK, the paladin has been very easy to play, level and is pretty overpowered in endgame. All classes are fun to play, though

Of all time, that would be FF11. Currently, I have to say FF14 ARR which will probably dethrone FF11 when 2.4 hits. While vanilla Wow will always be in my top 3 cause I loved the pvp back then, now Wow is just a shadow of it's former self.
