First of all, eventhough I think Perfect Dark is the better game, I completely understand why people say Goldeneye 007 if their favorite. I happend to like Goldeneye more for multiplayer myself. The best multi-player game is NBA on NBC Showtime for the Dreamcast. Some other that I really like are:

Honestly unless you have some fetish for james bond, there is nothing to back that statement up.
First of all, Goldeneye is a movie based game. Perfect Dark wasn't. I don't think any other movie based game has become as succesful.
Second, I'm not sure about this, but Goldeneye is the first game to complete certain objectives in a shooter for the N64. Innovation.
Lastly, Perfect Dark copied Goldeneye. Rare simply made another game similar to Goldeneye and mashed it all up to from another game as succesful as it. It's for the money IMO.
This is my opinion and usually, you are not allowed to contradict with another person's opinion.
Got it?
you should defintely check out my blog here on gamespot where i made a topic with 20 mutliplayer games for snes and 21 multiplayer games for nes. :)
(with boxshots as well as screenshots for eye candy reasons) ;)

Super Mario World
Its not standard co-op but I used to play this game a bunch with friends and family. It was like vs and co-op in one because everyone would always help you when it was your turn, but at the end of the day you wanted to have the most lives and highest points and get to the hidden stages so everyone would be like, "whoa"
