I don't dislike MW2, in fact, I actually had a lot of fun, especially in co-op. It's just that there's so many better shooters out there like Halo 3 and Episode Two. But I thought that the plot was really stupid.
I agree with this. I loved the single player from the first one. MW2, on the other hand, made everything completely over the top. It is like a Michael Bay film will mindless explosions every few seconds.I don't dislike MW2, in fact, I actually had a lot of fun, especially in co-op. Some missions were fun, others were meh. I am slowly playing through the co-op special missions. We'll see how those go. A couple of them were semi-fun. I found the online mod fun with friends, but boring by myself. I got to prestige 1 rank 20, but can't get past it either. My son got to rank 70, played through and maxed out his AK47, and then stopped playing. I think it's just the same old thing over and over, new maps just add new places to hide. Good for the first few days, but it's still the same thing. I don't dislike MW:2, it's just very repetitive.
Commando pro, Campers(bad map design), kill streaks above 9 promote camping, one man army, Danger close (No flak jacket perk WTF IW).Fightingfan
that about sums it up, but for me id also add hackers, modders, lag switches and gernade launcher

That as well. I hate lag switch users in S&D, and how did I forget all the fake lvl 10 prestiges.I hated the way the first one used those stupid respawn points for enemies that didn't stop until you stood on them, and I dislike the duck for cover to regain health although it does work well for Halo (and it actually makes sense in Halo). I think I disliked it so much because it was so hyped, people told me it was realistic too and yeah... damn those respawning terrorists, good job real soldiers can repair their injuries by not getting hit for a few seconds.
Overpowered killstreaks, Campers, Guns with no recoil at all (you can easily hold down the trigger while hitting your target), Unbalanced perks (commando...), Hackers, Lag, Shallow and repetitive gameplay (run, kill, run, kill, die, repeat)
love the single player campaign (as I do in all COD games), spec ops missions can be fun too in co-op, but hate the competitive multiplayer though, for that I switch back over to BFBC2, which has the best multiplayer but not so good of a single player experience

Plot was ridiculous. Cod4 campaign much better and more realistic except One shot One kill...
Campers
5 hour campaign
Major plotholes in campaign
Little kids online
Knife sniping
Superpowered infinite grenade launchers
Guns have no recoil
Secondaries can often surpass primary weapons
Overpriced map packs
Guns always kill in 4 hits or less
Heartbeat sensors
Overpowered killstreaks
Tactical nuke
Deathstreaks
Developers don't listen to community
Barrett M82 often takes numerous hits
UMP Snipers
1/2 of the people in objective based games are going for killstreaks
Numerous glitches
I'm playing the game now, and I really don't know what everyone's problem is. It has a cinematic, frequently exciting campaign, Spec Ops is fun and addictive, and MP is accessible to everyone, not just the nerds who spend all their time playing it. The campaign isn't anywhere near as good as CoD4's, but it's still really fun. Yes, the plot is ridiculous, but individual levels and intense set-pieces elevate it far above most other shooters.
Overall, it's a good game, and you all know it. It suffers a bit from the "GTA IV syndrome". It's become fashionable to hate it, even though there's nothing to really hate...
-plot is single player is utterly retarded
-multiplayer ruined by comically unrealistic perks like being able to stab someone from 15 feet away
-huge popularity at release means this is the first shooter a lot of new gamers have and the only way they can hang in is by camping, camping and more camping
-did I mention camping?
