TMNT (hard because it sucked compared to the arcade version)

Double Dragon

RC Pro Am (that damn yellow truck)

Castlevania (1st game with Hard mode I think)

Out of the games I've played this gen, here are the ones I believe to be the hardest on default difficulty:

• Jericho (very tough even on easy, especially the boss fights)
• Turok (horribly frustrating gameplay made worse with infrequent checkpoints)
• Motorstorm: Pacific Rift (the later stages are incredibly challenging)
• Alone in the Dark: Inferno (primarily on the list because of the puzzles)
• Shift 2: Unleashed (a poor sequel full of frustrating moments)
• Dead Rising 2 (constant time limit on gameplay, and some aggravating boss battles)

Out of the current gen, Vanquish is hands down the hardest. Try beating challenge 6. Nearly impossible.

As of all time, I don't know what my hardest game would be. Might be dark souls, cuz I have yet to finish it and it's been months since i've bought it

I know I know most of these arent really "hard" but I guess I havent played any really hard game yet...

I usually complete all my games fairly quickly but playing Black Ops on the hardest difficulty was God awful...

X-Com: Terror from the Deep and Hitman: Codename 47 are the only two I can come up.
