One thing I am sure about is that GTA IV is the best.

1. San Andreas - San Andreas had a great map with a huge variety I'd really Rockstar to go back to San Andreas at some point.

2. Vice City - Great 80's soundtrack and Tommy Vercetti is still one of the best GTA characters in the series.

3. Ballad of Gay Tony - Better then GTAIV at least the missions were fun and it had more entertaining characters

4. Chinatown Wars - This game was funny the story had me laughing at certain points and it was good to see the GTA series go back to the classic top down view again.

5. GTA III

Top 5?! Are there enough to warrant a top 5 list? 1. Grand Theft Auto 2. GTA II 3. GTA: London 1969 4. GTA III 5. GTA: Vice City 6. GTA: San Andreas 7. GTA: Vice City Stories 8. GTA: Liberty City Stories 9. GTA IV I guess there's techincally enough. But that's over half the series. And as fun as they were back in the day, I don't think anyone is gonna have GTA 1, 2, or London 1969 in their lists.Emerald_Warrior

Yeah, hopefully they'll go back to that style in the next GTA games. It's quite different from IV.

I hope it goes overseas but I think people would freak if it was subtitles and it just wouldnt feel authentic if they did english dub with accents.

GTA III, VC, SA and IV are a lock for top 4.

The 5th is a toss up bewteen LCS and VCS.
