Your worst game rage?

Describe to GGD what your worse game-related rage was.

I think my greatest rage of all time was one with Diablo II on hardcore. I had this character who I'd been working on for a few weeks (more than a month), and without thinking much I whisk myself into a dungeon -- as I'm fighting my way through, the goddamn potion hotkey key jammed -- I didn't notice, continued with my low HP and got killed by the monster. I think I stared in silence for 3-4 minutes at the screen, before yelling like a mad-man, picking up the keyboard and smashing it a few dozen times on the table. F***ing key never jammed again.

Probably playing Mario Party (any of them) with my friends. Horrible horrible things were shouted at eachother, punches were thrown, controllers were thrown (at people), people were tackled, chocked out, and people turned off the console in spite on more than one occasion. One of my Gamecube controllers ended up with teeth marks on it over a game of Mario Party (no joke and don't ask). All in all....good times. :lol:

Greatest rage was when I was ten and my mom unplugged my ps2 after I completed half the campaign for Ratchet and Clank without saving. If you saw me, lulz would've been had.

Punched a wall and broke my hand after I lost in some Star Wars game (Battlefront, I think)

The only games I ever rage at are GoW on the hardest diff. and Call of Duty.

Probably the worst I've done is yell at everyone in the game, send messages callling people stuff. Then ejecting the game.

I've gotten very close to just snapping the disc as it comes out of my PS3.

FFVIII. I remember that I needed to leave an area within 10 or 15 minute limit. I almost got out with much time to spare, then I accidentally summoned Diablos. Of course, I had to beat him. Though very difficult and constrained for time, I did it. I was so happy. Then, when got back to the area, I ran out of time a few seconds before the last door! I had to re-start from the last save, and obviously I would have to fight Diablos again... :cry:

I guess I was just pissed because I beat him in such an awesome manner, but all for nothing because the time frickin' ran out on the mission.

I slammed my controller and cussed out loud like an idiot when I was playing COD.

So you see I'm basically like the best Blur player, so everytime I lose, (and by losing I mean not finishing 1st, even 2nd is dishonorable) I start to rage. But even then I remain calm, unless I lose by some crappy unlucky streak of random stupidity, then I rage.

The worst time was when I pulled a really old PC from under my desk, and I started punching it, I bent the case and cut my fingers with some piece of metal when I pulled it out. And then I kicked it across the room. And no, I'm not proud of that. :X

Got it from playing the later levels of Motorstorm Pacific Rift. That is all I wish to share. :PLightR

I'm sorry but that's really stupid. Who gets angry about losing a video game? There are far more worthwhile things in life to worry about like breathing and waffles.

I'm still deciding over strawberry syrup and grape syrup. It's just too hard.

I have some mouth on me. What is said shall not be repeated. I think it comes out when I'm playing Bad Company 2 as of late and there is some BS going on. Both fortunately and unfortunately, only my buddies on Skype have the pleasure of hearing me rage.

Usually I'm pretty mellow, though. Whenever I get shot in the back in Call of Duty, I usually just shake my head and mutter "Of course".

I don't know about the absolute worst, but the worst one in recent memory was breaking a Wii remote in half playing Super Mario Strikers online. Damned cheap piece of **** players. :x

Everytime a death knight in WoW Death Grips me. My god, this is the most annoying ability in a game ever, you have the day of your life and those god damn death knights can ruin it all with one button. It's especially frustrating when you have 2-3 or standing from far away, pulling you around like a rag doll. It is so annoying, I seriously rage just thinking about it. It's disgusting, despicable crap and nothing in a video game will ever come close to being as annoying as this ability. Death Knights in WoW is the worst thing that've ever happened to the video game industry.

Playing the Mark of Kri on PS2. Near the end fighting hundreds of Zombies. I Kept getting killed and got angry and threw my controller at the wall. Over reacted but I really got frustrated

Can't really think of my worst, but I know that Jet Moto has probably provided me with the most of any game. I never learned how to grapple properly so beating certain races was all but impossible. Combine this with completing 95% of a race in 1st then getting knocked off the bike and I raged all the time. I've never broken anything though.

Most memorable rage was probably when I was 5 years old. I got to Bowser for the first time in SMB3, and my 2 yr old sister crawled over to the NES and hit the reset button. I was mad about that one for hours.

I've had some real rage moments with the various Mario Karts. I've never broken a controller or anything though.

Day of Defeat 1.3 before getting good. I was really competitive and spent 8 hours a day playing for several months. Hackers didn't help.

I had some cheap, off-brand PS2 controllers that didn't work properly, and they eventually made me rage so much, I shattered both of them. I also nearly destroyed my keyboard while playing the pre-patch version of Spore when there was a pirate attack every five seconds.

You know, all I do whenever I "rage" is yell "Oh! COME ON!" or something to that extent, lol. I guess my worst game rage(s) were when I was playing Jurassic Park: Danger Zone! with my dad when I was five. We would have a good time, and all, until the Dino Duels came. O_O. My dad would ALWAYS win, and I would scream for two minutes, roll on the floor for three, then run to my mom, crying the entire time. I did that quite a bit, until my PC broke at age six, then I got a GameBoy Advance. Game rages = Grown out of during those days, XD.

I dont remember what game it was, but it was on PS2 and I got so frustrated with the game that I scratched the hell out of the disk, thus preventing it from ever working again.

I think some of my worst game rage was when I was trying to earn the cheats in Goldeneye by beating certain levels under a certain time. Man I got pretty pissed withsome of those. I remmeber I hit the floor and threw my controller around afew times.

Getting owned in CS 1.6 for several weeks, years ago, before i actually got good at it. Used to play it every morning..

Use to swear out load each damn time.. And that's about it. My $$ is limited, so breaking my keyboard ain't a option.

Have you ever played a competitive multi-player game?

I seen so many fights caused by a board game(i was in some of those), so that applies to video games too.

Hell i even seen ppl fighting over video game...

I know it sounds stupid but when your young and you think that opponent is cheating you...

I freak out and I dont play the game for a month or so.

I don't really get angry over games, well overly angry. I pounded the bed with my fist once in frustration?

the "challenge of the godds" and "chalenge of the titans" in god of war 1 and 2. and, of course, half the best NES titles

I've had many video game rages, all about the same rage level. A more recent game rage was Pokemon SoulSilver. Screens were punched, friends were knee'd, and I almost threw my DS against the wall. I almost broke down crying.
