ZOMG Guitar Hero III is going to be EPIC!

I'm beginning to think that Activision/Neversoft are spying on me. First they announce that Tenacious D will have a song included in GH3, then they reveal that GH3 will include "The Number of the Beast" by Iron Maiden, and "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce! Two of my all time favorite songs, from two of my all time favorite bands.

And as if that wasn't enough to make me wet myself, these songs will be the *original* recordings! Yay no more "meh" cover bands covering my favorite songs!

For those too lazy to visit the site (and I sympathize), it was also revealed that the original recording of the Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Suck my Kiss" and a cover of ZZ Top's "La Grange" will be included in the game.

So to conclude: Guitar Hero 3 will be the most epic GH yet, and I will make love to it when it's released this fall!

La Grange is the easiest ZZ Top song I have ever played on guitar, but then again Sharp Dressed Man was a piece of cake as well in Guitar Hero 1. I will not be fullysatisfied with GH3 until they announce a master track of the song The Spirit of Radio by Rush and I Come in Peace by Buckethead.

Much of what came after 'fear of the dark' doesn't quite hold up in quality ... but number of the beast is awesome
