Game Night #99 - Borderlands

April 14 starting at 5pm PT, ending around 7pm PT.

This thread is for your questions, excitement, or for practicing with other GameSpotters before this game night!

1. How do I get in on the action?
Make sure you have Borderlands game and platform. Also be sure to play the game before dropping by or you are going to be owned by GameSpot staff and other GameSpotters. Just saying.

It is important to join the CHAT ROOM so we can all communicate with each other. If you cannot remain in chat, exit and return once you want to play another match. We'll open the chatroom from a half hour to an hour of the day we host the game night.

2. I am from another country and timezone other than California time (Pacific Time). What time is that for me?
We might have tons of lag playing with each other, but why not see how bad it is? Go to this url http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc to see what time it is in your country. If you want to be extra tech savvy and you use Firefox, download the foxclocks application to monitor your timezone versus other timezones.

3. What mode will we be playing?
Just tell us which ones you're excited to play with ion this thread or in the chatroom on the game night and we'll consider it!

4. Why this game? Why not another one?
You all asked for this game so many times... I had to do something about it!

5. Can I drop by a little late to participate in game night?
Of course! Why not? Just make sure you join the chatroom so we know that you exist.

6. What GameSpot folks will I be playing with?
Staff to be determined.

7. What's this week's bounty requirement?
The non-scientific method. A player from each platform will be selected by GameSpot staff. Get yourself noticed by either being a star player on a staff member's team or fragging them a lot in the game!

8. I am totally the best, and you know it. What if you give the emblem to some other dude, even if I know I am better?
It's the staff call on who becomes the MVP for the week.

9. So, do I have a good chance of kicking GameSpot butt?
Of course you do! There has got to be a game that we stink at.

10. Do I get an emblem for playing?
The only emblem goes to the bounty winner(s), which are listed on the game night feature page as MVP. It's next to impossible for staff to keep up with who enters the game or server and who doesn't. Besides, isn't gloating over GameSpot Staff a great reward?

11. Where should I report my game night experience?
If the game has a way to record the matches, take screenshots and post your reactions to came night in this board. Someone may use the information and post it in the game night report hread that will be created after game night is over.

I'll defenitely be playing. On PC i'll be a level 35 Siren. And good suggestion since this game to me is not really fun when you have too high or too low level players with you. High level people take all the EXP and good guns, and low level players hold you back

I also have a level 6 or 7 soldier

I'll be playing on the 360. I never finished the game. Depending on what we do and what others are playing I have a Siren at 34, Soldier at 6, Hunter at 8, or Berserker at 7.

is there a level and dlc requirement also is it us onlysmok15

1. No DLC or level requirement so far and I don't think there will be as that would limit the amount of people that could join. 

2. No i don't believe it's US only
