Look I've owned an Xbox 360 since launch. I've enjoyed Gears of Wars 1 and Fable 2 (incredible game) as well as some racing ones. Halo 3 and Halo OST weren't my favourites so I choose the PS3.
With the PS3 you've got an amazing library of platformers, including the PS2 remastered ones, FPS and RPGs. So even though Microsoft's console is a toughy, I mean take a look at some of their games, when it comes to whole console experience I choose PS and specifically the PS3.
I would put into the discussion the Wii U but to be honest apart from The Legend of Zelda games there's nothing there that actually interests me - maybe Super Mario World 3D or something and that Splatoon.
- Forgot to mention that with the PS console you've got access to the online store where you can buy AAA RPGs, namely FF series. -
Microsoft will not make another game console after this generation. I don't care what Phil Spencer says...they won't. They've all but killed their underperforming mobile division, and Satya Nadella is focused on software and Windows. The only hardware they'll continue to make are their Surface and Surface books. Xbox will be an app in 2020.
@kvally: and you're an ignorant douchebag who hasn't paid attention to the changes Microsoft is making within their company. Live in your land of denials, stupid Xbot.
I lean more toward Nintendo but if i gotta pick it'll be Playstation. Xbox just doesn't get enough variety of games and has the weakest 1st party out of all 3. It's like 2 shooters, an rpg, a racing game and minecraft. They may or may not be around too much longer since their games have been slowly shifting onto pc, it's rendering Xbox slowly optional
I've only owned Playstations all my life.. so that's the one I went with.. I'm a computer use though.
PS1 (Great MoH Games) PS2 (Lots of chilling games and more MoH) PS3 (Not having to pay for Xbox Live) PS4 (An updated version of the PS3)
I've always thought the PS had more content (I might be wrong)
I have both the Xbox one and Ps3, and I generally tend to stick with Xbox. The main reason is the controllers. I have a much easier time with a game on the Xbox controller than I do with the Playstation.
I owned a 360 the previous generation, but hardly ever touched it as I wasn't into gaming much back then. Still have my 360 around here somewhere. Still never play it.
I went with the PS4 this generation, and am so happy I made that decision. I can't imagine the Xbox One being better than the PS4. I am loving the PS4 this generation, so I'll go with PlayStation, and probably will stick with PlayStation for the next generation or two (assuming there are more consoles to come), unless something dramatic happens. I also own a Vita, 3DS XL, and Wii U. I'm not exclusively PlayStation, I just prefer PlayStation more.
I'm firmly in camp PlayStation. although I do think it's kinda sad that so many of the console war stuff overlook Nintendo(or at least the few things I've been paying attention to). I know they went in another direction with the whole casual market but they are still one of (if not the) most recognizable game companies out there. And the Wii U isn't bad. Splatoon is amazingly fun. But still if i had to choose one I'd go PS4 every time.
Lol
There's a lot more PlayStation guys here than I thought
Jumped ship from the 360, no regrets
The Xbox One has advantages and pros but I would have to go with the PS
To tell you the truth, I believe that PC is the best. It might be expensive at times, but its is the most versitle and has the most games.
Day one XboxOne from start, no regrets love it...im sure the playstation is quality too, but personally the games just look same on both consoles...some people believed xbox would be no good etc etc etc , personally the xbox360 was brilliant and improved with updates all the time, I had 100 percent faith in x1
