i dont and i feel like im never gonna have one. i sold all my 11 n64 games, i recently sold some of my 17 GC games (not all i still have 4). For the fact that i need money for future Wii and 360. I will eventually sell my wii games and 360 games. its the way i keep from spending a lot of money on games. and about the good taste emblem, maybe. i tend to buy good games (over 7 at least).
I have the good taste emblem (barely), and I'm about 7 games shy of the serious collector emblem. I'll probably lose the good taste, however, because I bought a bunch of 7 and low 8 rated games at Circuit City this week (Ultimate Spider-Man & Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for $9 each!)
I had both, but lost the Good Taste emblem when I bought Brain Age. I assume the average score required for that is 8.5, so mine must be rounding up slightly. Who knows. Don't really care either.

I had good taste, but it's been taken away even though my average score is still 8.5. I got my serious collector badge right at around 200 games. I'm now up to 220. I had both for a while, but they took away good taste even though my average score was still the same. Anyone have an idea as to why?
I have the serious collector and bad taste emblems. I don't think the bad taste is awarded for a low average [mine's at 7.8]; I think you get stuck with it if you have a sufficient number of games that were rated below a 6.0 or something like that.

dude, i just checked ur profile, u have bad taste embleme! Strange!
Anyway i've got Serious Collector Badge but not the Good Taste Badge mainly because i own quite a few games which i like but gamespot don't. Gamespot are quite harsh when it comes to reviews but either way i'm not really too bothered about not having the Good taste badge, as long as i know i've got good taste thats all that matters really.
I don't have enough time for the 186 games I have now so I'm not worried about the serious collector it'll come eventually since I'm always buying new games and have found a couple caches for my old consoles. Even an electric football games I've had since I got it on that Christmas morning in 1959 when I was 6 years old:| The next few games I purchase will have to be for PS2 so I regain my afficionado, that's the way these things work when you have more than one system, have to keep 50% of you games for at least one of them to maintain the emblem:|

Yea this seems to be an epidemic. Everyone who has had these now don't.
I'd rather not have the Good Taste medal. Many great games have received low ratings before. Games that were either late bloomers or that cleaned up their act. The collector one can totally be lied about to get :)

Same here. I want my good taste back. Im still working on getting the serious collector emblem. I have a about 30 or so more games to go before I get that emblem.
I have the good taste emblem and only a few games away from the serious collector. I'm not proud though. It shows how much money I invested *cough*wasted*cough* on video games:|.
I have Serious Collector, but not the Good Taste medal. I have tons of older games that aren't rated on GS, so that probably throws off the average significantly.
I've got both of them. Only recently got the serious collector one though, I actually took the time to add some of my old games. When i say old, I mean OLD. C64 and master system stuff. plus a load of old PC games. Most of them aren't rated but I don't think that does anything to your average scoring.
I used to have good taste and then I lost it, and now I have serious collectors... yarg. Ya, I'm pretty certain unrated games don't do anything toward your average rating, I got a decent amount of unrated games in my collection as well.
