Favorite Music

My musical tastes are so diverse that it would take me the rest of my life to name all of the bands that I'm a fan of.  Here are a few artists/musicians I've been listening to lately though:

• The Roots (saw them live in DC about a month ago)

My musical taste varies a tad from the rest of you I guess...

Nas, 2pac, Jay Z, Notorious B.I.G., Dr. Dre, N.W.A, Eazy E, Ice Cube, Kanye West, Rakim (and Eric. B I guess), Snoop Doggy Dogg (not to be mistaken with "Snoop Dogg", I'll talking 1993 Snoop Doggy Dogg), DMX, Method Man, Old Dirty B****rd ect.

Oh, and I also like System of a Down...and Utada Hikaru >_>

I like a lot of rock music and some rap, like:

I like a couple other rock bands but they are not really coming to me at the momment. Also as said I like a little rap but I like the rap that doesn't talk about all the crap and more of serious stuff, such as:

• Immortal Technique
• Nas
• DMX

Most of what i hear is based on old school mid 70's progressive rock, from bands like Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis and stuff.

but since i'm more into the metalish side of it, i do love bands like Symphony X, Dream Theater, Andromeda, ARK, Pain of Salvation and good kick ass Jazz-Rock/Fusion bands like the MIGHTY Planet X and solo album of Keyboardist Derek Sherinian, also On The Virg, Liquid Tension Experiment and so on

Ohh, and Salsa ;)

I could sit here and type for the rest of my life and still probably not name all of the music/bands that I like. I'll give you a list of stuff I'm listening to currently though...

I'm eclectic with music so I like allot of everything...it just depends on what mood I'm in. I'm not sure I could pick just one.

If someone told me today that the members of Maroon 5 contracted Lime disease, SARS, AIDS, the clap, and anything dealing with the colon, I wouldn't shed a tear. Not one.
