I mean, what is Nintendo waiting for? I'm sick of those crappy racing games Nintendo makes to exploit their franchises.

All I can say is it has to be 2d.

Not only were the 2 DK:Cs far supirior to the n64 DK I prefer 2d platformers. :P

Making it 2D again wouldn't be much more then a remake/rehash, eh? There is more land to conquer at the 3D side. The 3D platformer needs some great original games to live a new live again, like in the days of Mario64 and Crash Bandicoot. Donkey Kong would make yet another wondefull addition, as the franchise has acces to Jungle goofiness that Mario (or any other platform hero) cannot touch, as it isn't their terrain.

Donkey Kong 64 was a very original and fun platformer. And in fact, Iam supprised that no sequel to it has been confirmed as of now. It wasnot perfect but the whole concept was. If done right, we could get another one. There is so much to do here.

Of course, I am not allowed to say WHAT should be done, as I barely glanced at the original 3D game. But when I saw it, I was SO pissed I didn't have such a cool expension pack.

How so? it's not as if 2d is so limited that they must just copy the previous two DKs.
