Damn! My headphones just broke!

This isnt a good time for them to break. I dont have any money, I just have enough for a 2 month WoW subscrption. Now I have to drop another $30 on some headphones. Maybe even $50 for a really nice pair.

This will suck for the next few days, I need my headphones and mic for gaming.

My headphones break all the time. Simple solution: don't use them.

I lost my PC mike months ago. I should probably buy a new one, though I don't play that many online games....

I don't know what features you need, but I've always gotten good results from Koss headphones.  Low cost, high fidelity, very durable.

I have been useing the same Sony head phones for years, they are very durable and have great sound. These: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-Q22LP-Headphones-Interchangeable-Headphone/dp/B00008VIX2/sr=1-4/qid=1160428223/ref=sr_1_4/102-3459808-9916913?ie=UTF8&s=electronics

Sony? Lasted for years? Durable? That's a break in tradition.

That's a perfectly logical statement. You should already know how badly I've been screwed by Sony. So yes, this is new.

I have always had quality durable hardware from sony, the only thing that failed on me was my PS2 when it had the DRE.

Well it's not really true. The only Sony products that have ever broken on me are headphones and Psone.

I'm not saying all Sony hardware is crap. But the majority of the Sony hardware I've owned throughout the years has screwed up on me. My PS2 and PSP are fine but my PS1 broke. My gaming hardware is good, just not the rest of it.

The only other console I've had break on me is, ironically, my original Xbox. It broke like a week after I got it in 2001.
