I decided a while ago that I would wait until mgs4 came out to buy the ps3, but the launch has gotten me excited. Just knowing that the ps3 is sitting on a shelf down the street makes my stomach feel funny. Plus they are selling for 2000+ on ebay.
I would have easily gotten one if I went to target this afternoon. Oh well, I'll get one in january.
Actually totally forgot about the launch...lol. Me and my friend were getting so aggrevated with GeoW on insane...but finally beat it just a few minutes ago. Guess I'll see the damage tomorrow. All I know and we both banked $450 each for spots in line lol...

Damn, you saw people getting a grand for a spot? =( We shoulda waited longer. We got out there around 8 in the morning on thursday. Waited until 1:30 and got on offer from 2 guys for $450 each. We were number 12 and 13 in the line. Gaaar..oh well.

In the NYC line people were giving 1-2k for a spot in the first 400.

Did the GCN have bugs? Well mine doesn't. Still have my launch GC and works great. Can't say the same about my PS2's or Xbox's the power brick on my launch GC is broken, but that is about it.

Well my GC disk hatch does't open on it's own any more since the spring fell out(My fault entirely) but it still plays games.:P
The thought that people are playing Resistance right now makes me feel very jealous. However, after the usual launch fluster when I finally get my hands on the machine (be it at a friends or in a shop), I usually feel satisfied and nothing more. That happened when I played Kameo and COD2 on the 360 for the first time, and Klonoa: Lunita's Veil on the PS2. Halo on the Xbox did impress me a lot though....
